I've been coming to Luna Lake since i was a kid. I've seen the world change from the 1980s to 90s to now 2026. One thing that remains for me is Alpine and Luna Lake. My cousins and I used to ride paddle boats all over the lake. We'd fish from anywhere and everywhere we could. Picnic lunch was hot dogs and chips or sandwiches we ate with haste so we could get back on/in the Lake. I'm Grateful for the great state of Arizona, I'm Grateful for Alpine, I'm Grateful For Luna Lake.
Quiet and very pretty
Went fishing here for the first time with my son. We pulled out some nice sized trout. The lake was beautiful first thing in the morning and we had a beaver swim by while we were fishing. We had a really good time. The shoreline is pretty rocky, so come prepared.
