This is the absolute worse office ever. The Laurel and Greenbelt offices merged and it has been nothing but dissatisfaction. Even if you leave a message no one returns your call and it takes weeks to get referrals for specialist. The front desk has outright l8ed when asked a simple question. Just say you don't know. This office was so much better when it was in Laurel.
I would not recommend Luminis Health for routine physical exams. Back in August, I shopped around for a new in-network primary care provider and booked a routine physical exam using Luminis’s online portal and did the exam at Luminis. A few weeks later I get a bill of over $350 for an “office visit.” I don’t recall Luminis telling me that I’d have to go to a new patient office visit and pay hundreds of dollars for it instead of or prior to doing the one routine physical exam I booked for that year, which my insurance covers ... read more
I am not giving a low rating to Dr. Javanmard but instead I'm giving a low rating to Luminis for communications and assess to treatment. Why? 1. The computer scheduling doesn't work now and hasn't worked for a several days. 2. Phone calls are not picked up. 3. Last week, instead of CALLING me to cancel my appointment, I had to drive to Greenbelt and be told in person that all office appointments were cancelled that day. That seems very strange.
The most difficult office to reach and talk with Reception. We can only leave a message. Correct me if I am wrong. Better change the phone system.
I had a great experience here with Dr. Paspula and her team. This is my second visit with her so I can confidently say that my experience has been consistently pleasant from the front desk staff in the main office to the staff in the lab located conveniently across the hall from the main office. Dr. Paspula has a warm and professional bedside manner, she's very thorough, and she does not make you feel rushed in the time she spends with you.
