I had never been to an OB-GYN before, so I was a bit nervous, and did not know what to expect. That being said, the experience I had at this office was by far the worst experience I have had at any medical office. Once I was brought back to the exam room, while I was being checked in, the nurse/medical assistant asked if it was okay if a Ob/midwife student could be present in the room during the visit. THE ABSOLUTE WORST PRACTICE EVER. I walked in to my appointment for OB/GYN at 15 weeks and 4 days gestation. I was referred by 3 different physicians in the family after moving to the eastern shore and realizing my doctor's office back home was a bit too far to keep driving to every month. I walked in for what I thought was an 11:30am appointment at 11:15am and at the reception desk the first thing they ask is "hi what are you here for today?"
