Doctor and staff failing to call from office and failing to answer regarding script!
I was sent a bill 1 full year later for cosmetic Botox and Sclerotherapy “Office Visits” that were charged and coded as medical evaluation to my Aetna insurance. These were cosmetic and taken care of already and should never involve insurance since they’re purely cosmetic and there was nothing “medical” discussed. I’ve made four attempts to escalate this to a supervisor in their billing department to fix it and no one calls me back. not sure about the actual care of this place but the receptionist is definitely rude and unhelpful. and judging by the plethora of one star reviews I see, perhaps it was a blessing in disguise that I was unable to make an appointment for my daughter. thank you Luminary Dermatology for saving my family and myself the hassle of coming here. oh and my insurance thanks you too, they can use the money you were going to overcharge them for to pay genuinely helpful doctors.
Plain an simple. They are the best from start to finish. Even when you might receive some unwanted news. They explain every detail in the next step of treatment no questions left unanswered in a very calm and reassuring tone. Your not just a number. Thanks Dr. Foss Another visit just reinforced my previous comments. Great people providing excellent care.
Horrible billing practice. I’ve always paid in full and received a “delinquent bill” out of the blue one year later for 3 separate dates. See below for long version. Be careful. I've gone there a couple times for Botox and also sclerotherapy (which didn't work). At my Botox appt last April I showed her my veins and she said for sure it would work. Then the following month in May at my appt she says actually my veins were too tiny and they didn't have a small enough needle but that she'd try anyway. She said if it didn't work... read more
