YOU'LL BE SORRY! ...if you use Luminarias Banquet facilities – YOU'LL BE SORRY if you use Luminarias Banquet facilities for your special event. When you hold a large event like a Wedding and you spend thousands of dollars to provide a good time for your friends & family the least you can expect is to get the food that you paid for and receive competent, courteous attention. Our family has held 4 large (150 persons+) events here over the last 10 yrs and all I can say from our last event experience there is that because of the... read more

DONT GO THERE FOR BRUNCH – I made my reservation two weeks in advance for Easter Brunch after seeing their advertising. We get there about 10 minutes before out reservation time, they had us waiting for about 45 minutes to sit us. Then they took us to our table where I noticed that they only put one knife on our table of three people. It took about 15 minutes for our server Brenda R. to come around our table to ask her for knifes. I also asked her for water which never came. She brought water for the table next to us but not... read more

Your better off eating grass – I took my fiancee to this retaurant earlier this month for a special dinner. She had mentioned that she had been there before, and that the food and view were great. Upon arrival I noticed that they still had not cleared many of the tables from just a bit earlier. Not a good sign to begin with. After being seated we made our orders: To start, we ordered the Calamari and the corn chowder. After waiting for a good 20 minutes or so, we finally received our appetizer. Now I have had Calamari on man... read more

Do not go on Valentines Day – Last night my wife and I decided to try this restaurant out for Valentines Day. This Restaurant sits on a hill so we thought we would enjoy the view as well as the food. Little did we know our night was about to be ruined. The Restaurant was so greedy they tried to pack each of the dinning rooms with as many tables as possible. Because of this the service was absolutely terrible, not to mention my wife and I could hear the whole conversation happening from the couple right next to us (the tables... read more

Definitely a buffet worth trying – This place has "buffet" written all over it, yet at the same time the ambiance is a bit hard to explain (a cross between a classy restaurant and a Mexican Quincea?era). We had a mariachi band playing in our room and then some weird filming going on that could only be described as a reality show for BET. It was quite interesting to see. The variety of food spanned from mini-waffles (recommended) to carne asada and eggs benedict. Champagne was complementary. The Cappuccino was really good (ta... read more
