I had not seen Lumia before my mother moved in (I live in a different state). I was delighted to enter a facility that was new, filled with light and welcoming. The staff has been great, even adding the game of rummiqub at my mother’s request. She takes part in exercise class, gets complimentary manicures and goes to Thursday happy hours (which I also enjoy when I visit). Thank you, Lumia for the care and respect you give to our mother.
I want to thank the staff at Lumia for the extra special care they have given my mother as she nears 95 years of age! We planned a birthday party having 95 people show up at the Canopy Room at Lumia. The facility was clean, bright and beautifully decorated for fall with pillows and accent blankets and other fall decor. Staff was available upon our arrival offering help and assistance. I absolutely love working for such a warm welcoming facility…I have been a chef at lumia for 4 months and I absolutely enjoy seeing my residents smiles on there faces while enjoying a great filling meal I’ve prepare…thanks Lumia for such an awesome work environment I LOVE IT HERE :)
Since moving to Wisconsin I’ve worked with other agencies and I can say with complete honesty and gratitude that Lumia is the best. The level of care, support and attentiveness that is provided for the residents and families is insurmountable; not to mention that the facility/grounds are absolutely beautiful. The amenities and activities available make the residents feel at home. I love it here.
