This was the second time I stayed at this place and I loved it. No tvs and it was nice and quiet (exactly what I was looking for). Not a place for children or ppl looking to party. A deep healing beautiful place nestled upcountry but close to Paia and Makowao. I will definitely be back.

The Lumeria property is something out of a dream. Immaculate landscaping, beauty everywhere you turn, the perfect place to get away, meditate, and completely calm your nervous system. It isn’t the “typical” Maui resort experience - it is something truly unique and special. Being upcountry, it is breezy and quiet. The pool, lawn, rooms, hammocks overlooking the ocean in the distance - it is all designed just beautifully. I am looking forward to returning again.
We went to Lumeria for a couples massage. They started the massage 10-15 minutes late and ended it right on time. We were charged an undisclosed 18% gratuity on both massages totaling $95.00. Even though the property was beautiful and peaceful, we would not go back.
I had an incredible experience during my stay. The staff was warm and attentive, and Zara made me feel especially welcome—she was always available to answer questions and helped coordinate a massage that was exactly what my body needed. The cook was consistently friendly, and the space itself felt truly magical. I can’t wait to return! I’m also interested in exploring the possibility of hosting a wellness retreat here.
