Being a complete novice at Pilates I have found the team at Luma Pilates to be a breath of fresh air. I have had such a wonderful experience there. As a complete beginner I felt supported and encouraged every step of the way. The teachers are truly excellent both patient and knowledgeable.. Luma is my favourite studio in Edinburgh by far. Lucia and Max have put so much thought and love and care into the creation of this studio. The minute you walk in, you’re in a beautiful space that works wonderfully whether you’re there for pilates, yoga or barre. The equipment is all high quality and the reformers feel so luxurious. I have been going to Luma Pilates at least twice a week since September. The teachers are truly skilled at what they do, the equipment is state of the art and the space is airy and light. But perhaps the thing I love best about Luma is the community that the owners Lucia and Max have cultivated. It's a warm and welcoming place, and everyone is super-nice.
Luma Pilates is so much more than a Pilates studio. It’s such a beautiful and welcoming space for everyone. All of the teachers genuinely care and are so supportive- especially to new clients. It’s a lovely community to be part of.
I love this studio! Lucia, Max, and Catrin are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I used to prefer working out at home because I can be a bit shy, but everyone here is so welcoming. I have never felt uncomfortable or judged; instead, I've felt heard and encouraged in a very positive way. Now, this studio has become one of my happy places.
