The dish was served without the advertized "Pesto Pasta" as a side. Our waiter couldn't tell us why, wasn't sure that it WAS included until he consulted his cheat sheet, cheerfully suggested that, "the pasta is ground up and in the red bell pepper sauce." In the mountains? Who would have thought you could get California cuisine in Sylva? And it's good! Go in for the plantain dishes and stay for dessert. This restaurant has it together!
A special treat in Sylva I travel all over the state with my job, and I always look forward to my trips to Sylva so that I can dine at Lulu's! It's located in the quaint downtown area and has nice patio seating for warm days. The Pasta a la Greque (sp?) is my favorite - a warm pasta salad with greek veggies tossed in a lemon herb vinaigrette and topped with melted feta.
