Dr Wendt was my doctor/surgeon for my hysterectomy. He actually listened when I told how painful my periods were. He did an amazing job, and I’m thankful he is my doctor. Nurses even checked in the next few days after surgery to make sure I was comfortable and ok. 👍
He is the most chill person I've every met. He answered all questions and made me feel very heard. Sometimes male OBs tend to be dismissive, and he never was. He was very supportive of how I wanted to give birth. And the c section went wonderfully. I would highly recommend to anyone.
He saw me for many post partum appointments as I was dealing with so many different complications with my healing. He listened, he cared, and he even remembered me. I was compassionately helped in my difficult healing process thanks to Dr. Wendt. I work with many doctors as a registered nurse and I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Wendt and his office have two times now - for two separate children - been kind of nonchalant about prescribing medication. The first time after a 10-minute conversation, he decided to prescribe an antidepressant to my wife. We felt he didn't take much time at all to discuss potential risks, and he handwaved our concerns away such as withdrawal and long-term side effects. Dr. Wendt is an outstanding OBGYN! My previous OBGYN retired and I was concerned about finding a new Dr.I was comfortable with and could trust. Fortunately, a nurse I trusted referred me to Dr.Wendt and I am very grateful that she did. Dr.Wendt is considerate, very knowledgeable and obviously up to date in advanced medical care for women's health. And, he is a highly skilled surgeon!
