Called for a plugged toilet, the guy showed up for 10 minutes, gave up and told me to call a professional. They then billed me $92. When I called to ask why, he told me he had to drive 12 miles to my house. I told him that's not how this works. You were hired for a job, you didn't have the skill to complete it, it is not my responsibility to compensate your incompetence. I used to do business with Luke's and was very satisfied until the past year or so. I am now moving on to a different company due to them not knowing how to return phone calls or follow-up on things. Waiting weeks for repairs due to no follow-up is ridiculous. It's even more ridiculous when the customer follows up asking why there has been no communication and the response is attempting to place blame on the customer and then you just saying "I don't know why" when called out. My furnace went out on a Saturday and I was leaving town on Sunday. Luke came early on a Sunday morning and fixed me up right away! The cost was very reasonable too!
