I wish I could give zero or negative stars. Dr. Luis Vazquez was one of the most arrogant and dismissive doctors I’ve ever encountered. He completely lacked bedside manner and treated me with condescension from the moment he walked into the room. Despite clear, well-documented evidence of my medical condition, he smugly insisted it “wasn’t possible” given my age — as if medical conditions only follow textbook timelines. I had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction with Dr. Luis Vazquez last month, and I’m so glad he was my surgeon. He made a complex procedure feel simple and kept me calm and well-informed the whole way through. Beyond being incredibly skilled, he’s also genuinely personable and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience so much better. I felt like he cared about me as a person, not just as a patient. Highly recommend!
Dr Luis Vasquez lacks compassion as well as knowledge about natural redheads and our lack of pain tolerance. He did not give me enough numbing medication for the procedure. During the first procedure I was begging him to stop. He did not, saying we were almost done. The 2nd half of the procedure a few weeks later I was again in extreme pain, and he did finally pause to give me more of the numbing agent. I was so traumatized by both procedures, I was literally sobbing afterwards. Also, he prescribes DARVOCET for pain. WHAT???... read more
