Finding another Dr.! Severe Diarrhea for the past few months. I had a stool sample completed. Robert called and left me a message telling me I had a stomach parasite and they were sending in an antibiotic. I called back to ask questions and got no explanation. He didn't even tell me what stomach parasite I had been diagnosed with. I didn't find out what I was diagnosed with until I got a call from the HEALTH DEPARTMENT! Dr. Artavia is great. His staff is horrible though. I’m often referred to Robert, an employee there, who’s supposed to help with referrals, sending labs and such to other doctors requests etc. He does not do his job! I’ve waited 3 months for him to send things over to another doctor. He’s in La La land I guess. Want to hire me? I’d actually get work done. I even had to drive 15 miles to his office to pick up some documents that needed to be mailed. I get there, confused why they didn’t mail/fax it. It was signed and stamped ... read more

He used to be a good Doctor. Regal Medical Group is the group that he works for they are Horrible and Dr. Artavia's staff who work for Regal Medical Group is incompetent not having or showing the necessary skills to do their job correctly. The lack of patient care at this office is ATROCIOUS! things never get followed up on , Orders go missing, Urgent Referral Authorizations fall through the cracks, you get the runaround because no one is doing their job there correctly. Can't say enough good things about this doctor. Caring, spends necessary time reviewing records from prior and current and takes a real interest in the patient. I can go to any doctor but would never choose to leave this one.
