This family-run establishment is an inexpensive, no-nonsense, what-you-see is what-you-get type of place in the heart of Myrtle Beach. The food was really lacking in flavor. I wondered why this place had such high reviews out of all the Italian restaurants around. The seafood (mussels, shrimp) smelled rotten and tasted off. We could smell the rancidness before the dish hit our table. The house salad, as expected, was very simple and bland. The drinks were good. Was eager to see what happy hour was like since the hh menu is missing from the restaurant’s website but once we were sat we were told happy hour is only served at the bar. Womp womp.
Amazing Italian food and service! All of the Luigi team members are very welcoming and if you have any questions about the menu they are more than willing to help. The food is 100% worth the price and they have amazing cocktails as well. I would definitely recommend if you're in town and looking for an authentic Italian meal.
