I really enjoyed my dining experience at Luella's. As a 1st timer traveling from Texas, I didn't know what to expect. I ordered the creole catfish, a side of creamy cheese grits and bacon. My family members ordered crab stuffed shrimp and grits and waffle/ bacon. The grits were so good!! The waffle was absolutely delicious, not your typical waffle! the menu is pretty limited, but they put a lot of care and work into what they have. although pricey, the shrimp and grits were delicious. i’ve never had grits like this, but it’s probably the best grits i’ve had so far. the one issue i had was that we ordered beignets, but they sold out before making our order. they gave us a refund and that would’ve been fine, but we saw them deliver an order for a table that came in way after us. i would’ve assumed that if you ordered first, you would’ve gotten them first but i guess not.... read more
