The food is amazing and the servers are nice! Ordering before you get seated is OK. But it took nearly 40 minutes for us to be served.
This spot exceeded every expectation. Once things quieted down after the rush, the owner personally came over to chat and ask where we'd traveled from, the kind of hospitality that makes a meal memorable. On the table: pancakes served in a cast iron skillet that looked as good as they tasted (unreal), fried chicken with seasoning that reached all the way to the bone, and creamy mac and cheese. But the real showstopper? The shrimp, crab, and grits. Absolutely unforgettable.
I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. The menu offers some delicious Southern-inspired choices, and the shrimp and grits were a standout for me. The fresh beignets were also excellent and made a great finish to the meal. I liked the unique, slightly tucked-away feel of the restaurant, which made the experience feel different from the usual dining spots. The staff were welcoming, and the overall experience was enjoyable. I’d happily recommend this place and support it again.
Food, service and the staff were amazing!!! Definitely recommend the crab stuffed shrimp and grits, and fish and grits. Someone next to us had these huge delicious looking pancakes so we hope to come back to try them.
