Should’ve named the entree sausage party
I made a special stop to Leavenworth, WA becasue I wanted to see a Bavarian-styled village (Cascade Mountains) to compare with Solvang in CA and memories I had in the Black Forest, Germany. My expectations far exceeded. Ludwig's food was superb, truly German. Food was served temperature hot and with good presentation and excellent service. There is a good selection of beer as well.
My motto is you only rate a place if it is really good or really bad. This place was really bad. Bad food! Way overpriced!
Wow, has this place gone downhill in the last 30 years. The schnitzel was tough. The mushroom gravy was awful. Mushrooms came from a can and they tasted like tin. When we arrived a large table was covered in spilled food; french fries and other goop. It still wasn't cleaned by the time we left. We waited forever for the bill to come. Only two servers who were run off their feet. Never going back.
