Ludlow Castle has been a Tourist Destination since the 1800's. We have 2 major festivals a year, self catering holiday apartments, 2 Gift Shops, Cafe and a venue for weddings or parties. Set in the heart of Ludlow a town steeped in history and full of medieval streets, independent shops and the easily accessible Shropshire Hills we are an amazing place to visit and stay a while

Great castle ruins and grounds, plenty to see and lots of nooks and crannies for the little ones to run around and explore (and me as well). £25 for a family of 4 seemed reasonable value. No cafe but on site separately owned restaurant with coffee and cake options. On the day of our visit there were outside games setup for kids including big chess, tug of war, etc. Right in the centre of Ludlow so just get parked where you can, there is paid parking on the streets round about, £2 per hour or £10 for the day.
