Blunt Blowin M. review for Lucy Sky Cannabis Boutique

I just wanted to share a review that I will be sharing about your company. This weekend I went to visit one of favorite budtender and was told that he had been let go and the reason why. I am very disappointed in how you treat your employees and will be spreading the information to ensure everyone knows what type of business and employer you are. Cannabis is a space for inclusion and pouring into each other and it is clear this is NOT what your company does. I am very disappointed and honestly a bit outraged at the fact that you let my favorite budtender go. As a woman of color it is clear your dispensary is not a place for inclusion. “If you want to buy from an ethical, people driven, inclusive BIPOC dispensary Lucy Sky is NOT (let me repeat) NOT it. I started coming in to this dispensary about a couple weeks ago and it quickly became my favorite. Not because of the brands it carries or the dispensary in of itself, but because of one certain budtender, Emmanuel. He always took the time to ask me about my day and make sure I found not only the perfect product, but the right brand to help my pain. I didn't go to Lucy Sky for their deals (because Lord knows they don't have any) or the atmosphere (to be honest it's pretentious) but for EMMANUEL. THis weekend I went in to see Emmanuel at his location only to find out that he no longer works at Lucy Sky. And do you want to know why?? Emmanuel took time off to visit his wife's dying grandma only to come back to find his position was terminated. Lucy Sky made him choose work or his family and as you can imagine he chose his family. And also guess who was the only employee of color?? Well... no surprise I can honestly say I will never be back to Lucy Sky in my lifetime. And if you want to support dispensaries that are BIPOC friendly and support their employees I urge you to NOT come here. I'm very disappointed in this dispensary. So much so that I downloaded and made a Yelp account just to leave this review. I will definitely be more conscientious of where I buy my product from now on.”

Top shelf Black Diamond at $55 an 1/8th is outrageous, really giving to the people there in Denver! And only sold in 1/8th’s is bogus also. Looks like I’ll be browsing the selection at other stores. Can’t recommend Lucy Sky!
