Saw this doctor a few years ago, but never reviewed my experience. I came in as advised by my previous GI doctor, as I moved out of state and could no longer see my previous provider. I had to advocate to get tested for my potential condition as per the advice of my previous provider, as Dr. Joo was doubtful I had it. On my first appointment I spoke with her resident. Saw her for less than a minute and she was not concerned with my issues. Scheduled an endoscopy with her and again before the procedure she popped in for less than a minute. After the procedure, basically said I need an ENT for my condition. If she would have talked to me and listened to my concerns or researched my condition I could have gotten the necessary help from an ENT and not wasted time.
