I just came back from Lucky Trade to check my car, and I could say that they are the LOVELIEST mechanics and mechanic shop in NYC that I’ve ever seen. What I love most is that I can stop by ANY TIME with NO APPOINTMENT, and they still welcome my car, check it, and fix it on the spot. The second thing I love is that they do NOT CHARGE a checking or diagnostic fee, unlike most shops that always charge for that. So, this helps me save a little money when fixing my car. Routine maintenance and great attention to details.
Dont fall for all the 5 star reviews their fake, this place is a scam especially the older guy that walks around the shop and only clears engine codes after you come back a few times because the work that you needed never got done. Went there a few weeks ago with an emissions leak supposedly they put a smoke machine on to see where the leak was coming from the older guy calls me to the back with a mechanic and tells me that an EGR valve was leaking. but the e g r valve doesn't have anything to do with an emissions leak they ... read more
Had an amazing experience. If you’re looking for a no BS mechanic who is honest then this is the place to go. All the technicians are trained to be transparent. If they don’t know something they will be honest and will diagnose. Overall a very positive experience.
Always a good experience with Marcello and his team, who always do a great job and let you know before hand what is the problem and what needs to be repaired. Honesty has always been at the fore front of the Lucky Trade experience.Quality work with good people.
