2,000 dollars to file taxes … simple tax return no adjustments made . Charged for software. Never told me how much they charged . Just said my irs refund amount . Never said refund amount minus their fee. I felt robbed. We had the client read, review, and sign their paperwork prior to transmitting their return to the IRS. Therefore, she was well aware of the fee amounts and we then spoke with her over the phone after giving a complete breakdown as to why she was charged the amounts on her itemized billing statement she agreed with fees and we thought this was resolved back in February of 2023. We are almost into a new year and she's acting like she we haven't already resolved at the beginning of the year.
