Weird experience with a staff member who insisted I send a photo of my planting area. The conversation turned into a 10-minute argument about his ability to know everything about my lighting from that single image. I’ve been to a number of nurseries around the South Bay and this is by far the least impressive. This place doesn’t even have basic gardening supplies. One of the plants I bought from them immediately died, and it was even planted by one of the people that worked there the pot selection is unimpressive as is the plant selection.

Looking for a good plants nursery without feeling overwhelmed at all the choices or lack of help? Go to Lucky Plants in Hermosa Beach. Family-owned and the owners are so nice, knowledgeable, helpful. The nursery is medium sized so not overwhelming. I went to them twice in the last 3 months. I was in this weekend for the first time. They have an impressive collection of outdoor and indoor plants. The team is very nice and knowledgeable. I have 2 passion fruit vines that aren’t thriving. They recommended some vitamins to help them. The location is beautiful too. Come visit them when you’re coming back from the beach!
