I chose this salon after seeing it recommended on the Transcona Facebook page because I was looking for a new nail place. I hadn’t had my nails done in months and was really looking forward to it after losing my regular nail tech, so this experience was very disappointing. All I wanted was a gel overlay on my natural nails with polish on top, which is something I’ve had done for years. I have had good and bad experiences with this salon. Service seems to be dependent on the type of mood the owner is in on the day of service. It's very inconsistent as far as quality. If the shellac peels off they blame the client saying your nails are too thin! My last pedicure looked like a child painted my nails. My nails were cut far too short as I experienced discomfort walking for almost a week.
