I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from an older blonde woman working at the establishment. Her demeanor and the way the interaction was handled came across as unprofessional and left me with a very negative impression of the business. Unfortunately, this experience made it easy to understand why the company may be struggling to retain staff and customers. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both the customer experience and overall service.
Woman with short, thin hair was extremely rude and unhelpful. We were told that as long as we arrived before 2 PM, we would be able to float. We arrived at 1:30 PM, so we were there before the 2 PM cutoff we had specifically been given. Despite that, she went on about how she “doesn’t keep staff here all day” just for people to float. You will get a discount for paying with cash, and bringing your own floats. It's also a good idea to bring a paddle to help in the fast currents. My wife and I spent $40, which was basically the fee for the shuttle because we brought our own floats. It took us about 1 hour and 30 minutes, but we were not trying to be out there all day.
This was our first time to float the river (Sunday). We called around a few places, this was the only place that would let us bring our cooler of alcoholic beverages. They were super nice people. Very informative and told us the level was low. The bus to get to the launch point was…. Well, not the best it was an extremely rough and bumpy ride. Hahaha.. we went when the water was low.
