My dog LOVES this place more than her own home! – I've tried so many places in LA to board my dog and she always came back miserable or thirsty and hungry. She hated being cooped up in a kennel. But now whenever I leave her at lucky dog ranch, she doesn't even notice when I leave. When the owner sometimes picks her up himself (I live in Calabasas, so the shuttle service is REALLY convenient) she is so excited to go with him and she's so upset when he leaves.
