Great place for an intimate dinner! Service was attentive and kind! Vibe was moody and relaxed. Lighter bites and shareables!
Fun environment. Really enjoyed the cheetah theme. Our waiter Andrew was very nice and accommodating. They start you off with three dipping sauces per person but I think you have to ask for refills. Appetizers started with the crab rangoon. It was good but just a little too creamy, it really needed a sweet duck sauce. We had such a great dinner at Lucky Cheetah. The whole experience felt fun, stylish, and a little different from anything else we had in Portland. The food was excellent. We especially loved the dumplings and noodles, and everything we tried had tons of flavor and was beautifully presented. The atmosphere is fantastic too, from the plates and décor to the cocktails. My husband’s Taiwanese parents owned the first Chinese restaurant in Buenos Aires. They had a phrase that referred to the type of food they served there: “pian waiguoren” - “fool the foreigners.” Yeah. The decor is gorgeous, the staff is nice, the drinks are on point, and the food is… pian waiguoren.
