If I could give zero stars I would. This review is based on my 1 appointment for allergy testing First meeting - before the testing He came into the room and was asking questions as one does and he was so rude and abrupt and kept cutting me off. I was trying to answer the questions by pulling up my notes app and trying to remember dates and info by taking a moment to think and he kept saying I wasn’t answering him. There’s a lot of bad reviews so thought I would offer my perspective. We took our toddler to get an allergy test and everything was fine. Doctor was friendly enough and it was efficient. He didn’t really play or make too much eye contact with my son but that was fine with us.
I strongly advise against seeing Dr. Luchiak. If your GP has referred you to him, I recommend requesting a referral to a different allergist. My experience with him has been consistently negative. He lacks care and patience. Asking questions is met with condescension, making you feel as though your concerns are unwelcome or foolish. He typically enters the room, says what he wants to say, and walks out without giving you a chance to be heard. He does not listen to patient concerns nor does he offer alternative suggestions. First of all, he should be retired since he looks very very old. He can't even walk, secondly he was very rude. The way he talked I got scared. Also if u ask him second time same question he gets mad. He doesn't give enough time, I wanted to ask question but he just left and said it's done. I really won't recommend anyone to go there pls. But the nurse was good and talked nicely.
Highly recommend NOT going here. My daughter had an appointment and I was very disappointed with our experience. Did not feel cared for in the slightest. The front office staff barely acknowledge you - zero eye contact, operate in robotic fashion. Dr. Luciuk was rude, condescending, rushed, seemed annoyed that he was at work - also didn’t make any eye contact.
