I gave birth to my son in 2023 and Lucina Birth Centre was the best thing I could have done as a new mom!
I had a mostly wonderful experience at this centre. I loved how knowledgeable the staff were in addition to how easy it was to get things done right at the centre without needing referrals! I had an OB and hated it, so I got a midwife for the second pregnancy and loved it. I didnt like that there was a male resident there, but I said no and he left.
I had a very positive birth experience at Lucina. The facility was clean, private, quiet, and close proximity to the hospital if needed. The fee is pricey, but I felt it was worth it overall for the experience provided.
Absolutely loved our experience giving birth at Lucina. The space is so calm, peaceful and private. I ended up needing a hospital transfer so missed the waffles BUT the hospital is so close that I felt safe being able to get there so quickly.
Loved the facility. Had everything i needed and then some. Food and cleanliness was excellent. Bathtub was great!
