I agree with the other reviewer talking about the SPIDERS everywhere.ugh maggots!! Those steps down to the beach are a death trap. We went up to visit family who rented a cottage and I was so not impressed . It’s a rundown old town with not much to do. Every week is motorcycle week. Doesn’t matter when you go! What’s it gonna take for the owner to replace the steps. They charge you enough money to rent . Someone to get hurt and then what!!!!!
Rented out two of the cabins. Beautiful view of the lake, that was the only positive. The stairs to go down to the rocky beach were falling apart. There was an infestation of spiders all over the outside of the house, multiple fell on us as we were walking in and out of the front door. There were maggots underneath both of the recliners inside. Also had a dispute with the owner who was very rude and unprofessional, He called and was yelling at me saying we have too many people and that only rented each house for four people ... read more
Great view w a smaller beach full of sea glass! However steps to the bigger beach were falling down and unsafe. We weren't a good fit for the area from day one with our younger kids! The whole row of house's were older people that sat on porches watching our every move and they did not come off. On a rainy day we set up canopies in common area to stay dry however that was a rule breaker. Instead of saying anything to us they contacted owners! What a beautiful little cottage right on the lake... it was perfect!! Even the 2 teenage boys loved it... the morning coffee on the porch looking out at the lake was so relaxing... very clean and cozy... and Lucille was very friendly and kind... will definitely be staying here again.... thank you very much Lucille for everything!! ❤️ -Stephanie-
