This is a 10 month review of my Lucid Air Pure. The leasing experience was seamless. The car is wonderful to drive. For such a big car, it handles so well and the suspension tuning is sublime befitting a luxury car. The difference in ride quality is so obvious between the Lucid and a Toyota Camry or Volvo EX30 - the road bumps are soaked up with aplomb by the Lucid. I can't recommend buying a Lucid. It drives well when it works, but it's plagued with constant problems. The warranty is nearly useless, and they'll charge you for obvious defects. My issues included: getting stranded, systems crashing every ride, key failures, and frozen door handles. Their service responses were telling: On frequent alignments: "The car is heavier." I’m sharing this as a clear warning based on my personal experience as a Lucid owner in DUBAI. I have had to visit the service center nine times for a recurring failure in a safety-critical control unit that caused the car to completely stop while driving on multiple occasions. At one point, the car stayed with the service center for around six months, yet the core problem was never permanently resolved.
