We have a bloodhound, one on the most instinctual dog breeds. As an experienced dog owner, I thought I could train him on my own. After a year of trying, I learned the techniques I had used on my previously pleasing labrador were not working. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We worked with Katie on puppy training for about one year and it was very helpful. Our family learned how to adapt from life with a senior Beagle to welcoming a high energy German-Shorthaired-Pointer puppy. Katie gave us tips to help them get along. For the puppy, we did the basics - potty training, leash walking, sit, down, twist, here, etc… and we worked on discouraging unwanted behaviors with positive reinforcement and then later e-collar training. Chris did a wonderful job helping us address Cooper’s barking. He taught us how to actively engage Cooper in fun games and obedience training as well. Having him come to our apartment and work with us in our environment made a huge difference in successful training. Highly recommend the methods used to set Cooper up to be successful in his training. The first few sessions Cooper barked like a maniac at Chris when he first arrived but by the end he was sitting next to him on the sofa🐾
Professional, patient and kind. I would recommend them to anyone looking to learn to be a better dog owner of a better dog.
I can't believe I am just now rating Lucid training!! 5 stars doesn't even touch the professional and loving personalities of these guys! Our little Lambeau black lab loves Katie and still looks for her when we say "Katie is coming over!!" Just wonderful people and cannot recommend them enough!
Lucid guided our family through the process of transforming our scared, timid rescue dog into a well-behaved confident member of our family. Katie and Chris are fantastic.
