The staff is so bad
Walked in on a Friday afternoon for dinner, we were seated right away. Service was so so. Now for the food, calamari was different, feels like it was lightly dusted with flour then fried, and that's it. They serve it with a lemon wedge and fried basil, calabrian chili and a dipping sauce for it. It was alright. Diavola pizza was good but the pizza did have some raw dough in the middle. Dough had some good flavor. I would try it again.
Best original italian pizza in Berkeley. Food is great, owners are amazing and welcoming, service is fast and careful. Price might sound too much, but the restaurant is in Downtown Berkeley and they use high quality ingredients.
Honestly one of the best pizza crusts I've ever had. I had the focaccia spring special pizza - with squash blossoms and burrata. The Pear Basil Gimlet is one of the best mocktails I've ever had. The brussels are dark brown and crispy and melty. Plus - LOTS of gluten free options! I rarely have a meal where every single part of it is delicious. This place is a treat, I'd highly recommend it.
Horrible service. Very unprofessional. They did not have the table ready but more crucially instead of apologizing, they started arguing and being aggressive
