I went to Middlesex ED for a gnawing burning pain below my sternum. They believed I had a stomach ulcer and sent me to Dr. Gorgan to follow up. I saw Dr. Gorgan for approximately 5 minutes, he never examined me, and told me I had a stomach bug. When I followed up with my PCP, she referred me to a Yale gastro, who after 5 minutes of hearing my symptoms and pushing on the exact spot I had had pain for now 2 months, diagnosed me with a stomach ulcer. I have been under this doctors care for rectal pain and losing over 20% of my body weight without trying. He has performed two colonoscopies and an endoscopy on me since 2021. Over the course of my treat, my condition as worsened to the point that i am now considering applying for permanent disability with SSA. I have had a total of 30 minutes with a nurse practitioner and every other comunication has been handled by front staff secretaries. 100% of my sympton reporting has gone to someone not managing my care. Dr. Gorgan is a very compassionate doctor that explains the procedure and outcome of said procedure in laymen’s terms. Very nice doctor that will instill confidence in his abilities and put you at ease. Five stars!
The visit was great! All my questions were answered , everyone was on time. It was perfect as always.
My office visit was on time, which I appreciated. All staff were very cordial and pleasant. Dr. Gorgan is wonderful and down to earth. He listened to my concerns and educated me on my ailment - an endoscopy is ordered for me. I was in/out in a half hour! 5 star service!
