I met Dr. Wong during Covid after I was diagnosed with colon cancer, described as serious stage 2 or maybe 3. Post surgery to remove the tumor and some intestine he became my oncologist. He guided me thru a couple different types of chemo. My experience with him was, is and I’m sure will continue to be excellent. Dr Wong is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I've ever had in my 58 years. It's because of him I'm still alive going on three years with stage 4 esophagus and metastasis liver cancer.
My fiancé was referred to Dr Wong. He was extremely rude and acts like he does not have more than 30 seconds to spend with you. He recommended chemotherapy but the hepatologist told us no that would make him so sick and do nothing to help his liver cancer. She said he needed immunotherapy and sent us to get a 2nd opinion. If you have Amyloidosis find another doctor. Dr. Wong cut me off mid sentence explaining how I felt and said God for if you do have Amyloidosis because there is not much I can do for you said he would see me in 6 months but when got to scheduling desk was told it was a year. Having Amyloidosis your dead I. A year so Dr. Wong could not have cared less about me our my health. Find another doctor.
