Matt & his team do an incredible monthly maintenance job that has had my garden looking wonderful for 12 months now. Matt takes initiative, makes suggestions, problem solves and the team has lots of attention to detail. Admin wise - all works so smoothly with bookings & invoicing. I switched to Lucas after being with another very well known Melbourne garden business ... a very good decision. Thanks Matt! 5 paws from Ginger too :)
Great attention to detail
Matthew Elliott is our regular gardener, and he is great. With assistance of more junior gardeners, they work efficiently, happily, and always responsive to our requests, while adding positive suggestions for enhancing the garden. They listen, understand, care, and explain: communication is vital in this relationship. Lucas as a company has grown big, but by telling them what we want and need, we’ve managed to maintain a working and positive outcome.
Three years Matt has been attending my Garden; it has never looked better. His horticultural knowledge is extensive with a collaborative approach. Always punctual & polite. Matt and James are an effective team.
We have been using Lucas House and Garden for several years and they have been very reliable and excellent in keeping our garden looking beautiful. They have also done a great job with helping us add additional automatic watering to parts of the garden. We have had the same lead gardener throughout (Bradley) and he is really good - and understands our garden and our needs for the garden very well indeed.
