Food was good. The music and performers were entertaining. Cash bar was too expensive. Its not Disney level production it was a fun family dinner and show.
Dancers in show were very good. Sound system, band, and setting were below expectations. Program was held in a partially fenced in semi-private venue outside in a parking lot behind a hotel. The hotel had a little water park area that was in open direct view and five feet away from the venue. Food was good, but not much variety. Included drinks and beverage set up was poor. The food is a buffet that is served by employees. The buffet consisted of roll & butter, salad, pulled pork, chicken, purple sweet potatoes, rice, & cake. They used Romaine lettuce in the salad which I don't care for, and the purple sweet potatoes had no flavor. The pork, chicken, rice, roll & dessert were good. The atmosphere was horrible. It was outside right next to the CoCo Key water park. I had to pay $10 to park at the hotel - which was never disclosed anywhere. We really enjoyed the Luau on I-Drive. The entertainment was incredibly talented and authentic. We loved the outdoor venue this cooler season, although since it was a temporary setup outside, the service was a bit behind getting set up, and lots of us who arrived a bit early for advertised drink service (bar) were not able to get them. All in all a great show, we'd see it again!
The food and entertainment was good but the lack of accessibility for our disabled guest was disappointing because the issue could be resolved with a $20 ramp or a piece of wood from Home Depot instead of making guests in wheelchairs and scooters have to go all the way around the building and pool area to access the same accommodation as the abled body people. It took almost 15 minutes for maintenance to come and take us around the pool areas to get to the luau, and we had to try to avoid getting anything other than our feet... read more
