He doesn’t use mesh in his surgeries. It’s amazing to me how many surgeons still use mesh given it can cause severe chronic pain. Thank you for caring about patients, Dr. Zarour.
Dr. Zarour is the best surgeon I’ve had in Oregon. And I’ve had quite a few surgeries. I lost my stillborn daughter a week before I had an appendectomy. My life was, and still is in complete shambles. When I was rushed to the ER for lower right abdominal pain, I was given every test possible by Dr. Zarour to determine the source of the pain. Had hernia repaired. I can't tell anything was ever wrong.
Dr Zarour performed an emergency abdominal surgery on me a few weeks ago and I was impressed with his bedside manner. He spent the time to explain things to me regarding my situation. I would definitely use him again If the occasional arose.
