NEW CLIENTS BEWARE I filed with tax preparer Tayla for the 2024 tax year and had no issues. My circumstances changed for 2025 and I asked to receive an estimate for a potential refund without filing in hopes of maximizing my return. However, Tayla proceeded to file my tax return without my authorization despite informing her I would file on my own for free. Beware of this company. I know someone who went there to get an estimate and told them specifically not to submit their return to the IRS. They went somewhere else and was told their return was already accepted by the IRS. They had not signed the return or received a copy of the return. Once they confronted this company they played dumb. Shady tax preparation practices and fraud. Run!
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!! DWAYNE HAGLER PUT ALL OF MY INFORMATION IN, WAITED FOR ME TO LEAVE AND THEN CHANGED ALL MY NUMBERS SO HE WOULD BE POCKETING $1500 INSTEAD OF $500. THEN WHEN THE IRS LAUNCHED THE INVESTIGATION OF THESE NUMBERS THEY AUTHORIZED THIER BANK TO TAKE OUT $500 FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT SIGNING ANYTHING TO THIS EFFECT. My husband and I normally file our own taxes, but a few years ago we found Maytee. When we file taxes ourselves it genuinely takes us about 6 hours, minimum bc we are terrified to make a mistake. We hate tax filing day. We get nervous and waste so much time trying to make sure we don’t make a mistake. It’s a stressful time and we hate it.
