Larry Swindall and LS Dock Service built our dock on Lake Martin and it turned out awesome!! Before he drove the first piling he was very helpful in helping us design our dock with a boat lift. We wanted plenty of shaded dock space with lots of seating and easy access to the water. The pictures don't do it justice. My wife and I can't say enough good things about Larry and his crew. If I could give zero stars, I would. We contracted with LS dock for a large project (boat house, dock, decks and stairs). He continually pushed the schedule back and claimed he “never gives completion dates”, but on numerous occasions told us it would be finished by the end of the month, etc. I am not talking a few days or weeks. He did this for months. We ended up having to hire another contractor and he refused to give us back the deposit we were owed for the part of the project he did not complete. From solid construction to unique technical design, LS Dock service transformed our sea wall and created a dock on Lake Martin for our family to enjoy for years to come. Met with Larry in February forbid insignificant project. His location close to project suggested good supervision. Spent about 1/12 hrs on want and options. Enjoyed the time. Probably would have contracted with him but never heard back. Disappointed but wiser.
These guys did a fantastic job for us. Very responsive and professional. I was amazed at how quickly they finished the job and followed up with us to be sure we were satisfied.
