Dr. Lloyd A. West is a phenomenal doctor. Patients may feel threatened by his straightforwardness, BUT that is what makes him so special. He truly cares about you as a person and wants to treat you the best he can. He was so kind and took alot of time to show images and explain everything, he even drew pictures and answered all questions. He was straightforward and didn't beat around the bush of what needed to happen with me. After leaving I felt very comfortable going in for surgery. Zero compassion for patients and extremely rude.
I would expect a little compassion from a doctor. It’s the way he presents the facts that is kind of scary.
Dr. West and the team have been wonderful throughout this unfortunate diagnosis and treatment. Don’t let any negative review scare you off, Dr West is very succinct and direct in his speech which may put some people off, but I appreciate his directness. You will understand exactly what is happening, what will happen and what you should expect to happen. I had a very complicated surgery and recovered quite well. Editing to say that at my first CT scan and first checkup after chemo ended I am cancer free! I LOVE Dr West!!
