Lowe's in Yorktown NY is a wonderful store. All of the staff in the Garden Center are excellent and always helpful especially Sean as well as Louis.

Do NOT buy major appliances like dishwashers from this Lowe’s. The sales representatives lack sufficient knowledge about the appliances they are selling, which leads to incorrect installations. The installation and delivery company they use is difficult to work with regarding scheduling and is very rude over the phone. Before installation and delivery, Lowe’s should have a qualified technician come out to verify that the new appliance can be installed correctly. One star. I’d give 5 for their employee Elvis but Lowes as a whole gets 1 Star. I have a 15 month old GE washing machine that stopped working. The 12 month warranty ended so I went thru the Lowe’s extended warranty plan that we purchased when we bought the machine. I will say this, the claims telephone number and the actual website for claims is trash. Just a loop of getting no where with no help.
