I will not shop at Lowe's again. It has been a bureaucratic nightmare! I purchased a chest freezer on June 27 for in-store pick up. The item was delayed in transit and when it finally arrived a few days late, I found that the unit was damaged during delivery. Upon returning the unit to the Erie location, the staff ordered me a new one and I when I swiped my card their computer system glitched out. I have shopped lowes for 20 years and like the people and atmosphere. BUT: the credit card services they use is astounding. My home mortgage just got paid off, so I automatically lost my Lowes credit! My credit is good (750) but the Lowes banking service dropped me!!! HINT: don’t pay off your house or Lowes 5% credit card discount will no longer be of service!
