I purchased 85 bags of red mulch from Lowe's when they had the sale buy 5 bags for $10.00. I didn't lay the mulch down for several weeks. I starting laying the mulch down this past Saturday, May 1st. The first 20 bags were a dark maroon color and not the bright red that I was accustomed to seeing with this product. The rest of the 65 bags were the bright red color as advertised.
