The “new normal” at Lowe’s seems to be that paying customers are expected to do the work of employees. You’re forced to check yourself out, bag your own items—even in the garden center where the cashier literally just hands you the items to bag yourself. On top of that, it’s absolutely unacceptable that no one answers the phone when customers call. We are paying customers, not unpaid employees. Lowe’s needs to do better.
