Went to Lowes Fort Mill. It may be hidden but it’s a gem !!! Met K. Mays in the flooring department and yeap. That friendly Mrs Mays helped me get a substitute for a hardwood floor that I bought cheap online. No one had a match. But Mrs Mays took the time to help me find the right color AND gave me the perspective from a wife POV so I could complete the home project and get out the hot seat !!! Overall a horrible customer service experience. I visited today to pick up spray paint for a project and needed assistance selecting the right product. I used the call button in the aisle, which announced over the store loudspeaker 5–6 times, but absolutely no one showed up to help. To make matters worse, an associate eventually walked into the aisle to help another customer, completely ignored me, and promptly walked away after finishing without ever asking if I needed assistance. A woman was huffing shoplifted canned air in the parking lot by the exit. I removed it from her possession. I spoke to the manager about what should occur, he told me it was against store policy and he gave her back the canned air. She continued to huff it until I removed it again. The manager seemed to want her to leave and didn't want the police involved. Until I informed them that they would be liable for any harm she caused, especially since he facilitated her getting high. I had a 2 room carpet job. I spent nearly $1800 at Lowe’s flooring Dept & waited on their insulation service department for nearly a month. Wont do it again. The front end experience at the store was Fine. However, once they had my money, everything went downhill from there. Extensive long wait time to be contacted about an installation.
