Over the years I have lost confidence in Lowes but gave them another try with an installed privacy fence order. I did not want to deal with an installer directly if there were any issues. I "assumed" the sales person would handle any issues. Wrong. Lowes has a "customer care" system that inundate you with bot calls and never allows you to speak to the same person. Yesterday, my brother and I went to Lowe's in Concord, NC to pick up some items we needed for a home project. After shopping, we headed to the self-checkout counter. When I was ready to pay, a Hispanic woman approached us and offered me a store credit card and said that I would receive a 20% discount off today's purchase. One of the worst stores when it comes to customer service. I was working in my yard today and made a few trips to Lowe’s to buy mulch. Around 6:30 PM, I went for my final trip to purchase 12 bags. I asked the cashier if the loader is still there, and she assured me that help was available. When I asked the loader for help, he responded, “Why are you here? WARNING: I am a realtor and property manager. I have never had such a nightmare experience with ANY of my vendors. It started with trying to order a set of $5000 of appliances. My property owner and I could not get the appliance dept on the phone. We were told please hold then disconnect multiple times. Finally, we were able to place the order.
