Lowes of Clarksburg, WV. May 31st, 2021 between 1-2 pm. On May 31st in the early afternoon, I attempted to exchange a lifetime warranty tape measure I purchased from Lowes. Lowes no longer sales that brand of tape measure and the customer (non) service manager would not entertain a refund or store credit to purchase another brand. Told me to go online and get it exchanged through the company. Needless to say I did not buy another one at Lowes. Recently tried to find a Kobalt workbench. Couldn’t find it. Stopped an associated named Antonio. He said I’ll find it. We looked and looked but none on display. Come heck or high water he was going to find. A jovial guy. He ran into customers he had helped before. They were like old buddies. If all were like this guy you have one heck of a store. Absolutely, horrible experience. I bought a grill and it was out of stock but I paid for it on 5/27. I was told that it would be in that night, assembled, and ready for p/u on 5/28. It's 5/31 and have spent 50+minutes calling the store only to have customer service pick up the phone and just hang up. They don't even bother saying hello, can you hold, etc. They just hang up. The thing is I already PAID for the item and no one wants to even help.

Contracted for privacy fencing. Quote given. Money received up front before work done. 4weeks pass and never heard anything. I had to call to get ball moving. No final receipt given. No follow up to find out if I’m pleased. Just plain horrible customer service. I may be pleased with fence but initially thought I would have to get a lawyer. I have privacy now but no peace of mind. Fence initially looks like someone might get bad splinters if they don’t touch gingerly.

Today, if I didn't need the items I would have driven back to MD and ordered them. The absolute worse customer service. I waited for 45 minutes and finally a supervisor took my order and still my order didn't get recorded. Customer service is an issue at this store.

I just want you to know that David, in lumber, did en excellent job helping us today. He is a very nice and courteous young man and seems to be a conscientious worker.
