The people in here know their stuff. They pretty much got all the things that I need single handedly, just ask them some questions and they will handle it competently.

Our old refrigerator died on a Sunday so we went to Sears and Lowe's. Sears said it would be up to two weeks to have a new one delivered. Lowe's said because of the current sale, it could take a few days, maybe by Wednesday. We bought the refrigerator on sale, plus 10% discount, and tax-free weekend on Energy Star appliances. I got much better service at a different Lowe's in Woodstock. The customer service poison told me I should go to a different place because they were returns. I said this sign says customer service. Then I was sent to wait outside for a person that never showed up.

I had a terrible experience at Lowe's. I ordered a front door and was told it would take 3-4 weeks. After 4 weeks I checked and they said it might be 1-2 weeks more. A week later I asked and they said something had happened to it and they had to start all over so it might be 9 weeks after the order date, but they would compensate me for my trouble. This place is terrible to work for. They will terminate your employment at the drop of a hat for the most petty of reasons. For them its as simple as calling the temp service and having another person sent over never thinking about the person they're screwing over. For the people that depend on the job its a lot more important. It all boils down to more corporate BS. Great place to shop would NEVER recommend working for them though. Majority of managers there have little to no management skills.

The manager and assistants that run this store do not care at all about customer service. After an incident at the store, I called Lowe's Customer Care and asked to speak to a regional manager. They said I could not speak to a regional manager until after I spoke to the store manager. I agreed to wait for the store manager to call me. Instead, an assistant manager named Bill called and left a message saying he did not know what I expected them to do. This is the best home improvement store. My GF and I like to say that we have a 110% success rate shopping here, we always find what we're looking for, and also one more thing that we forgot we needed. Not something we saw and wanted, we're not impulse shoppers like that, something extra we genuinely had intended to pick up before.
