We ordered blinds from the Lowe’s in Bowie Md. We were instructed to call the installation number to schedule an appt once all of our blinds were received. We called on Tuesday 2 Feb and were told we’d be contacted by the installer within 48hrs for an appt. 48hrs passed we got no call. We called the installation number again on Friday 5 Feb and a very nice gentleman by the name of Keonte helped us out. Your “costumer service” for returns are the worst and very frustrating. Waited 20 minutes just to get to the counter. Your “6 feet apart” floor signs are confusing. You have to rows leading to the counters but only one line is being served. People waiting in line on the second row are not given any instructions on which line running. Please have appropriate manager review the process and clearly state that on large signage so customers know and can follow them.
RecommendedBought a Gas Grill online. They sent us an e-mail letting us know it was ready to pick-up. Went to the store, it was well staffed, waited in line which moved quickly and got our grill, no problems. Then we could not fit the grill in our SUV. We tried several things and within minutes a nice young man came out and asked if we needed help. We said YES, he suggested taking the top off the grill, said give him a minute to get tools. The worst customer service; it’s difficult to find assistance. Since the pandemic I’ve visited several times and in each visit I didn’t feel the safety of customers was a priority. There were several store employees who were wearing their masks improperly with their noses exposed. If any of those employees were asymptomatic they’ve potentially transmitted the virus to Lowes’s customers.
Your Bowie location is the rudest least customer oriented store I have ever had the displeasure of being in. There is NO regards for anyone with any level of disability and during this pandemic this store has been absolutely the WORST. Props to Customer Service for leaving the phone uncradled for we could hear just how poorly they think of the ppl that help fulfill their paychecks.
I cant understand it. You offer curbside services and yet NO ONE picks up the phone. I’ve been sitting in my car for over THIRTY MINUTES and the phone rings endlessly and then forwards to the main line. There are THREE other cars sitting at curbside waiting. And when someone FINALLY picks up, I’m placed on hold and then get hung up on. 😡😡😡 Home Depot DOES NOT have these issues AT ALL! During this scary pandemic you are not doing your part with minimizing contact with the public. APPALLING!

The assistant manager is god awful. I called three times to speak to a manager. I would get transferred and hung up on! I finally went up there because I had a refrigerator delivered today and it wasn’t working. They took my old working one away. My food has been sitting out for 3 hours now, at least $350 worth of food. It took at-least 10-15 minutes for a manager to come up. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone from any department. No way to leave a message just rings endlessly. Save yourself the aggravation and go to Home Depot
