Lower Umpqua is awesome. The staff is so understanding and compassionate about helping navigate all our dog's health. Dr. Mark is over the moon one of the best Vets around; he saved one of our mares after she had severely colicked many years ago (she's now 25 years old). He recently helped our pup who was severely bleeding. Dr. Mark is about the only Vet, that I know, that will go back to the clinic in the middle of the night and on weekends to check-on an animal. I wish I could give this clinic zero stars. On December 15th, I brought my 8-month-old kitten, Niko, to this hospital due to serious concerns. He was promptly seen, and an ultrasound was performed. I was told he had IPF, with fluid surrounding his organs, and that survival odds were high (9 out of 10). He was kept overnight so the head veterinarian could prescribe the appropriate medication (special order). When I returned to pick him up, I was given a completely different diagnosis. We are so impressed with L. U Veterinary Clinic. They got our doggy in right away, took such good care of her, so kind and gentle, she was even afraid. Price was very fair. So glad she's an established patient now. We will definitely be back!
Lower Umpqua Veterinary Clinic is truly exceptional. Mark is the best veterinarian, and his entire staff is amazing. When my dog had back-to-back emergencies, they got her seen and into surgery within 24 hours. My dog means the world to me, and they always make me feel like she means the world to them, too. I couldn’t ask for better care or kinder people.
The best vet in all of Oregon. I love Dr. Mark and all his staff. We don't have to worry about getting ripped off with unreasonable high prices from certain vets in Florence. Dr. Mark is very knowledgeable and we never worry about leaving our dog.
