Service was horrible I had to wait almost 5 hours just to get blood test done. I do not recommend going here
Went to the ER last night around 10pm after getting pretty severe lacerations on two of my fingers where it was clear I had sliced nearly to the bone on one. I had my vitals taken extremely quickly by a very kind triage nurse, who took one look at the wound and the dressings I came in with and immediately handed me a full pack of gauze. I then proceeded to sit in the waiting area for the next 4 hours, slowly bleeding through the gauze I'd been given. It is over 7 years later and I still have night terrors of the way my mother was treated in the last moments of life at this medical facility. I was only 17 years old, why was I a teenage the one who had to clean my mother's face of her vomit to give her dignity? Why was my MOTHER treated as a side table to lay supplies on when stable on ventilators and no rush was necessary. Absolutely foul. Understaffed.
They are so understaffed... They will literally make you wait HOURS with a LIFE threatening situation. The staff from the nurses to the doctors don't care if you live or die, as witnessed by the lack of pep in their step. I was 1 of 2 patients in the extreme emergency section and I've been waiting over an hour. They give you attitude even when you might be dying. I get the feeling they WANT to see something crazy like some1 spasming or seizuring... It's SICK here.
